Jimmie Jane Dempsey Williams, age 68, went to be with our Lord and Savior in Valdosta, Ga., on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, with burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home.
She was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church and was a retired LPN from the Madison County Health Department.
She was born September 3, 1942 in Jennings.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Aaron Williams, of Lee; three children, Karen (Gus) Brown of Lee, Cheri (Robert) Placzkowski of Madison, and Steven (Jennifer) Williams of Lee; three grandchildren, Courtney Williams, Shayne Williams and Coleman Williams. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Allen, of Hamilton County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
