Jeffrey Lee Swain, 52, of Greenville, FL , died Saturday, December 8, 2012. Jeff was born September 4, 1960 in Naples, FL, to Sidney Swain and Verdie (Chason) Merritt.
He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic all of his adult life and in his spare time enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by His father Sidney Lee Swain, and step-mother Susan Swain, of Perry, his mother, Verdie L Merritt, of Greenville, FL, a son Jeffrey Swain, of Perry, 2 brothers, Mike Swain, of Crystal River, FL, and Randy Swain, of Greenville, 2 sisters, Lisa Massey, of Perry, and Malissa Reams, of Dixie, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in the Joe P. Burns Memorial Chapel with Bro. Cricket Watson officiating . Cremation arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
