Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue Holding Annual Thanksgiving Boston Butt Sale

Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue will hold its annual Thanksgiving Boston butt sale on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Boston butts will be $30 each and they will be smoked.
To order, please call the fire station at (850) 929-2354 and leave a message with name, contact phone number and number of smoked butts desired.
Those interested can also call their favorite Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue firefighter to purchase or email them at clfr@embarqmail.com.

Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue Holding Fish Fry And Raffle

Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue announces that they will have a community fish fry and raffle at the Cherry Lake Fire Station on Saturday, August 20, beginning at 5 p.m.
The price will be $7 for the fish fry supper, which will feature fried catfish and mullet, grits, hush puppies, bake beans, coleslaw and dessert. Takeouts will be available.
To reserve a fish dinner or fish dinners, please call the Cherry Lake Fire Station at (850) 929-2354 and leave a message. Please leave your name, contact phone number and number of dinners desired, or contact your favorite Cherry Lake Fire & Rescue fireman.

Cherry Lake Fire And Rescue Hosting Bass Tournament

Cherry Lake Fire and Rescue will host a bass tournament on Saturday, March 26, from 6 a.m. until noon at the Sims Boat Club (the former Wade’s Beach) in Cherry Lake.
The entry fee is $40 per boat for two fishermen or $20 per fisherman.
Register for the “Big Fish” pot at a cost of $10 per boat.
Registration will begin promptly at 5 a.m.
Prize money will be paid to first through four places if there are more than 21 boats or to first through third places for less than 20 boats.
Other possible tournament dates are tentatively scheduled for April 30, May 21 and June 11.
