Madison County School Board meets at 6 p.m. at the Madison County School District Office.

Freedom Fest will be held at Lanier Field, beginning at 6 p.m. each evening with a huge free cookout every evening. A total of $4,000 in cash and gift certificates will be given away, along with donations from local people. In between the cookout and the prize giveaways, there will be an anointed time of praise and worship, followed by an evangelistic message from God’s Word.

The Spirit of Greenville will present a fireworks display at Haffye Hays Park in Greenville at dark.

Lee Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Celebration. Entertainment and barbecue sandwiches, chips, drinks, dessert and boiled peanuts will be sold, beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks at Lake Brittany at 9 p.m.

Lee Worship Center potluck supper and open mic sing and Brenda McCormick birthday celebration, 387 SE Magnolia Avenue in Lee. Begins at 5 p.m.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park will host Camp Sonrise Sunday, June 23 through Thursday, June 27. The cost for each student, who has completed grades second through sixth, to attend is $75 each.
