A man was arrested for dealing in stolen property.
According to the Madison Police Department, Sgt. Chris Cooks was investigating a burglary that occurred at 363 SW Orange Ave. on an earlier date.
During the investigation, Sgt. Cooks discovered that silverware stolen during the burglary had been pawned at the American Gold Parties located on Base St.
After checking the pawn slips and interviewing a witness, Sgt. Cooks was led back to Reginald Clay. Sgt. Cooks made contact with Clay and placed him under arrest for dealing in stolen property.
