Children singing, bands playing, live mannequins, photos with Santa, and local businesses decorated for the Christmas season. All this and more as the Madison Kiwanis Club coordinated “Light Up Madison” on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in downtown Madison. Streets were closed so that local citizens and visitors could stroll the streets enjoying the sights and sounds and foods of the winter months. Hats off to the Kiwanis Club members and all others who worked hard to give the public–young and old–a great time of community fellowship.
