Division of Elections Spokesperson Explains How The Madison Supervisor’s Office Will Be Handled

Below is the response editor Jacob Bembry received from the Division of Elections in regards to a question about how the Supervisor of Elections office will be run since Jada Williams has been suspended following her arrest following a voter fraud investigation.
Jacob,

The decision to make an interim appointment would be made by the
Governor’s Office. The Supervisor’s Office will remain open. We have
offered to assist the office in any way we can, including sending staff
to help on location if necessary.
