Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force continued with phase two of a series of “Round-Ups” regarding several months of investigations and drug buy operations.
On Tuesday, July 5, the Madison County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant of a residence and curtilage, located at 2063 NE Rocky Ford Road in Madison and in the possession of Emory “Doug” Smith, 50.
The Task Force further executed warrants for the arrest of Smith for the following five felony charges and one misdemeanor charge without incident. Smith was transported to the Madison County Jail and is being held on $50,000.00 bond:
1. Possession of methamphetamine
2. Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to sell (2 counts)
3. Sell of Methamphetamine (2 counts)
4. Possession of Paraphernalia
