Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Tuesday the 4th day of January 2011 Deputies responded to a report of burglary and grand theft at Lee City hall. Upon arrival deputies discovered unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the Lee City Hall and took property valued over $1,500.00. The case was assigned to investigations.
On Friday the 4th day of February 2011, Investigators located and identified the suspect as Ronald Koltz, W/M, DOB: 02/22/1981 of Trenton Florida.
Investigation revealed the Koltz was a Madison Department of Corrections work release inmate assigned to the Lee City Hall. Koltz was released from the Department of Corrections on 09-09-2010. Koltz is currently incarcerated in Gilchrist County on separate charges and Madison County Charges forthcoming.
