A frisky couple was arrested for trespassing Friday evening, Sept. 27. According to a report filed by Madison Police Officer Jared Dewey, he responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in Gibson Trailer Park. When Dewey arrived at the scene, he saw the vehicle and observed movement inside. Dewey knocked on the window and asked the man, identified as Gerald Jackson, 51, and the woman, identified as Fontella M. Monlyn, 37, to step outside the car. When he asked the couple their relationship, Jackson claimed to be Monlyn’s first cousin. Dewey asked the couple if they could identify whose residence they were parked in front of. Neither could identify the resident. Dewey made contact with the resident who said that she did not know either Jackson or Monlyn. Dewey arrested both Jackson and Monlyn for trespassing and lewd and lascivious behavior.
