Last week Madison Country Club held an “After Hours Social and Open House,” hosted by the Country Club and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce to help celebrate their 60-year anniversary and to introduce new membership offers. Ted Ensminger, Director of Sales and Events and Krystal Williams, Club Manager, were on hand to make sure that all had a good time and to answer any questions. The event started at 5 p.m. and in as little as half an hour the club lounge was full and quickly became standing room only as tables were filled quickly and drinks and hors d’oeuvres dwindled. Ensminger directed guests from behind the bar and called out door prizes when he wasn’t on the floor laughing and talking at the tables. Sandra Hosford, who used to work for the country club, was in attendance and said, “I’m here because it’s my last chance to see everyone before I leave tomorrow morning. I’ve seen a lot of country clubs, but I absolutely love Madison Country Club.” Williams called the event a success and said the evening brought out about 50 people to the club, some who left with membership information and applications in hand.
