Carrie Louise McClamma, age 85, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Madison County Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Oak Ridge Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to the service at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel.
She was born in Madison and worked for Metal Products before retiring. She was a member of New Hopeful Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra McVicker (Jim) of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woney McClamma.

Obit: Margaret Regina Parry
Margaret Regina Parry, age 71, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Capital Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
She was born in New York and moved to Madison 31 years ago, coming from Miami. She was a retired science teacher and taught at NFCC.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Parry of Okinawa and Sean Parry of Arkansas; three sisters: Audrey Laws and Regina Barber, both of Cherry Lake and Diane Daniels of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research.

Obit: Bob Gibson Smith
Bob Gibson Smith, 47, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Madison, he was born on the 4th of July 1965. Bob was a Christian and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a long-time independent truck driver, historian, artist and had a unique sense of humor.
He is survived his parents, Roy and Catherine G. Smith; sister Nola (David) Sindt; brothers, Curtis (Melinda), Emmett (Debbie) and Doug Smith, all of Madison; and will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Emory T. (Hoot) and Lora Starling Gibson of Hanson and Emmett E. and Nola Womack Smith, of Oklahoma and Texas.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 4084 NE Rocky Road, Madison. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Obit: Robin F. Tyre
Robin F. Tyre, 48, passed away November 28, 2012 at his home in Valdosta, Ga.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at the home of Robin and Lorie Tyre, 2765 Copeland Road, in Valdosta.
Robin was born in Lake City and had lived most of his life in Valdosta. He was a diesel and hydraulics mechanic for LM Hydraulics in Valdosta also he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a go-kart racer and loved the outdoors. He loved life and people and was always willing to help others.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Tyre; two daughters, Ashley Kinlaw and husband Kendal of Bladenborough, N.C. and Shauna Lynn Tyre of Valdosta; a grandchild, Tristan Grimes of Valdosta; his mother and step-father, Carolyn and Richard Cheshire of Valdosta; step-mother, Linda Tyre of Macclenny; two brothers, Franklin Tyre and Ritchie Cheshire; sisters, Chanell Tyre, Wanda Mason, and Rebecca Southers; step-children, Eric Hodge, Wanda Taylor(Pat) and Elizabeth Cotrell; and step-grandchildren, Jena Rose Hodge and Riley James Taylor. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Tyre.
