Two Women Arrested For Affray at Fast Track in Madison

According to Madison Police Sgt. Jimbo Roebuck, on Sunday 06-05-11 at 1233 am , Madison police officers were dispatched to the Fast Track located at Base and Duval St. in reference to a physical altercation in parking lot. On arrival of Cpl. Gilbert and Ptl. B. Marsh a investigation into the complaint was conducted. After interviewing all subjects involved, two arrest were made. Myeshia Wilson and Keona Ware were both placed under arrest for Affray and transported to the Madison County Jail.

Man Arrested For Disorderly Intoxication

According to Madison Police Sgt. Jimbo Roebuck, on Sunday 06-05-11, at 02:55 am Sheriff’s deputies and Madison police officers were dispatched to Tom’s Place located at 932 E. Base St. in reference to a physical altercation. On arrival of Cpl. E. Gilbert, a B/M suspect was observed by Gilbert trying to fight a another person in the crowd. At this time, Gilbert made contact with the subjects and placed him under arrest for Disorderly Intoxication. The subject arrested was identified as Donte Jackson. Donte Jackson was transported to the Madison County Jail.

Pinetta Fire Under Investigation

A fire that happened Friday evening, between 8 and 9 p.m., is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
According to the Pinetta Volunteer Fire Department, they a call to a home on the Bellville Highway. When they arrived at the meeting, the home was not fully engulfed as was earlier reported.
Pinetta firefighters, Assisted by the Cherry Lake Volunteer Fire Department and Madison Fire and Rescue, were able to contain the fire to a wall and part of the attic.
Most of the damage done was caused by smoke.
Damage was estimated at between $15,000-20,000.

Arson: Up To $10,000 Reward Offered

The arson occurred in the early morning hours of May 13 at approximately 1 a.m. A total of $4,000-$6,000 in items, including copper wire and radiators were also reportedly stolen from the business.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist and Johnny Crosby, owner of Madison Metals, is also offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist.
The information could make one $10,000 richer.

Man Arrested For Intent To Sell Drugs, Cadillac Sezed

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Friday night June 3, 2011, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Kevin Anderson conducted a traffic stop in Madison County Florida that resulted in the arrest of Brian Antonio Hallman for felony possession with intent to sell cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy and paraphernalia. The illegal substances were located on the subject’s person and further concealed inside his 1992 Cadillac.
Brian Antonio, B/M, DOB: 12/08/1982 of Madison Florida was arrested without further incident and transported to the Madison County jail. Forfeiture proceedings are pending of the 1992 Cadillac

Lee Man Charged With Burglary, Grand Theft

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Wednesday the 1st day of June 2011, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Sharon Shadrick was following up on a series of reported burglaries originating back in May of 2011 in Madison County. In doing so, Investigator Shadrick captured Raymond Perry during the commission of the act. Raymond Perry was forcefully removing any and all electrical wiring and components from mobile homes causing complete destruction of property.
Raymond Perry, W/M, DOB: 08/30/1961 of Lee Florida was arrested and charged with Burglary and grand theft. Additional charges are pending further investigations.

Two Arrested For Drugs, Paraphernalia

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Friday night June 3, 2011, Investigators of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrest of two men for felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell and felony possession of marijuana over 20 grams. Robert Roy StClair Jr, DOB: 12/27/1990 of Branford, FL and Larry M Strickland, DOB: 07/05/1984 of Obrien, FL were stopped for a traffic violation on highway 90 in Madison County Florida. The Task Force canine was utilized and gave a positive indication for the presence of a narcotic odor. Investigators conducted a probable cause search and located more than 3/4 pounds of marijuana and a set of scales used to weigh the drugs for resale. The illegal drugs and paraphernalia were concealed within the vehicle. Both StClair and Strickland were arrested without incident.
