The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire Panhandle and Suwannee Valley under a Slight Risk for severe weather today. The majority of the strongest storms are expected to pass into the Eastern Panhandle around midday and into the Big Bend this afternoon, however, a few storms moving faster and farther ahead of the front may approach these areas sooner than expected. The bulk of the showers and storms will likely begin to approach the Suwannee Valley and Northeast Florida late this afternoon and into the evening.
