The Madison County Building Department issued 80 permits and collected $10,870.13 in fees in September. There were three new residential constructions with $2,357.11 collected in fees. There was no new commercial construction. Electrical permits were the most issued with 30 and $2,201.18 collected in fees. Mechanical permits were the second most issued with 15 and $1,005 collected in fees. Roofing permits and mobile home setup permits were issued seven times each with $643.70 and $2,267.94 collected in fees respectively.
Building permits were issued six times and collected $929.15 in fees. Plumbing permits were issued five times with $558.70 collected in fees. Other permits such as demolition and pools were issued four times with $329.12 collect in fees. Two residential addition permits were issued with $523.23 collected in fees. There were no commercial additions. There was one used mobile home permit issued with $55 collected in fees. No renovation/remodel permits, fire safety permits or renovation/remodel permits were issued in September.
